A prison in West Liberty was spared by the tornado.

The town has a medium-security prison: the Eastern Kentucky Correctional Complex. It's just a mile and a half from the tornado's path, but it wasn't touched, and the inmates are all safe.

The warden says the prison is without electricity and using generators. He says 20 staff members lost their homes -- and some lost their uniforms --but the warden says they're still reporting for work.
