Midnight Update:  We have been monitoring a line of thunderstorms moving across Illinois and Indiana this evening, yet most of that activity has diminished to rain showers, and will continue to diminish as it moves closer to Northern Kentucky.  There will be a chance for a few isolated rain showers, north of I-64 tonight, yet we expect partly cloudy skies by the Tuesday morning commute, with low temperatures around 64 degrees.

Warmer and drier conditions continue for the rest of the week, followed by unsettled weather by the weekend.

Tonight: There will be a slight chance for an isolated thunderstorm this evening for areas north of I-64, yet most of the thunderstorm activity looks to stay confined to Indiana and Ohio. Overnight will generally be partly cloudy with a low of 64 degrees by early Tuesday.

Tuesday: Warm temperatures will continue for Tuesday as low pressure spins over the Great Plains and high pressure spins over the East Coast, giving us warm, southwesterly winds. High temperatures will be around 85 degrees for Tuesday, with southwest winds between 10 to 20 mph.

Wednesday through Friday: Temperatures will remain in the mid to upper 80s for mid to late week, with partly to mostly sunny skies.

Next Weekend: Temperatures will remain in the mid 80s for Saturday, with highs around 80 degrees for Sunday. Rain chances will increase this weekend, as a cold front approaches the region. Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be possible on Saturday, with more widespread rain and thunderstorm chances for late Sunday as the cold front moves through.
