EARLY FRIDAY MORNING UPDATE:  Thunderstorms with gusty winds will continue to move eastward and out of Kentucky by 5am Friday.  We will have lingering rain showers for the early morning hours of your Friday, especially for Eastern Kentucky.  Colder air moves in, with Friday morning low temperatures falling into the upper 30s. 

FRIDAY: A few lingering rain showers may continue early Friday morning, with increasing sunshine through the day, and a high of 49 degrees. Winds will remain breezy out of the west, southwest through Friday.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Skies will remain mostly clear, with overnight low temperatures around 34 degrees.

SATURDAY: Our weekend will start off with temperatures around 56 degrees on Saturday, with partly sunny skies.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Mostly cloudy skies will develop, with a slight chance for a little wintry mix Saturday night into early Sunday morning, with overnight low temperatures around 34 degrees by Sunday morning.

SUNDAY: Skies will become partly sunny, with afternoon high temperatures around 48 degrees.

NEXT WEEK: Temperatures will be cold next week, with high temperatures around 40 degrees on Monday. Tuesday will be colder, with a high of 38 degrees, and the chance for some snow late in the day. Colder temperatures will continue for Wednesday and Thursday, with a high of 35 on Wednesday and a high of 37 degrees on Thursday.
