Afternoon Update:

Sunshine and mild temps will continue to dominate our Friday!  Look for a few more clouds to build in come late this evening into the overnight hours.  Showers should become a little more widespread by daybreak tomorrow especially in our nothern Blue Grass counties.  South of I-64, those showers should be more isolated in nature.

Join Chief Meteorologist Jennifer Schack tonight at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm for more on your weekend forecast!

Good morning!

We're up early on a Friday morning seeing frost and sub-freezing temperatures.  What a treat it was to wake up to the sights of a few meteors/shooting stars.  If you're heading out to lunch with a few co-workers, temps should be in the mid 40s by noon.  Looks for highs today in the low to mid 50s under mostly sunny skies.  Clouds will begin to build in overnight giving way to a few showers Saturday afternoon.  We'll hold on to that chance for showers into your Sunday morning.

Temps Sunday should spike into the upper 50s with more clouds and showers.

Join us today at Noon on ABC 36 for more on your forecast.

It's a chilly & frosty start, but look for a nice and mild end! More at 5am on @ABC36Lexington #GMK! http://t.co/CzRZ2wa5
