Afternoon Update:

It took a few hours, but that frost and light fog has finally burned off throughout the Blue Grass.  We're expecting temperatures to continue to climb into the low 60s with plenty in the way of sunshine.

Through this afternoon, I'm forecasting increasing clouds and during the overnight hours, showers and a few stray storms should arrive by daybreak tomorrow - mainly south of I-64.

Join Chief Meteorologist Jennifer Schack tonight at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm for more on the timing of this next wave of showers.

Good morning!

It's a very chilly start to your Thursday morning with temps in the upper 20s & low 30s.  Frost will be an issue as you're heading out the door.  By lunchtime, we're calling for the numbers in the 50s before temps rebound into the low 60s by this afternoon.  Mostly sunny skies should prevail through the day with an increase in clouds by late this afternoon into this evening.  Along with the clouds comes an increase in our chance for showers and an isolated thunderstorm with the passage of a cold front.

A few of you will wake up Friday morning to scattered showers and clouds with temps only topping out in the low to mid 60s.

We have 70+ degree temps in your 7-day! See you full forecast in our weather video section.

It's a FREEZING cold start this morning, but by this afternoon...look for a lukewarm day with sunshine ;-) http://t.co/qg8emiLM
