Early Weekend Update:  Temperatures will continue to fall into the 20s for early Saturday, with a hard freeze to start off your weekend, effectively ending the growing season for Kentucky.  We will have cool and breezy conditions for Saturday, with increasing clouds and a high of 54 degrees.  Saturday night into Sunday morning will feature a weak cold front passing through the region, giving us mostly cloudy skies and the chance for a few sprinkles.  Sunday morning low temperatures will be around 36 degrees.  Sunday will feature mostly sunny skies with a high of 55 degrees.  Temperatures moderate back into the lower 60s for Monday with mostly sunny skies continuing.  Temperatures are back in the mid to upper 60s for the rest of next week, with the chance for rain returning as we approach Halloween.

A Freeze Warning is in effect once again for Saturday morning, as overnight low temperatures will fall into the upper 20s by early Saturday morning. Temperatures will moderate this weekend, yet remain below normal, with low to mid 50s. A weak cold front will move through Saturday night, and with a lack of moisture, will only bring the chance for a few sprinkles.

TONIGHT: We will have mostly clear skies and cold temperatures overnight, with sub-freezing temperatures through early Saturday morning. Overnight low temperatures will be around 28 degrees.

SATURDAY: We will start off with a frost in the morning, with mostly sunny skies. As we continue through the day, a southwesterly breeze will pick up 10 to 20 mph, with afternoon high temperatures around 54 degrees. Clouds will increase Saturday afternoon as a weak cold front approaches the region.

SATURDAY NIGHT: A weak cold front will move through Saturday night, bringing mostly cloudy skies and the chance for a few sprinkles or light rain showers. Sunday morning low temperatures will be around 36 degrees.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny skies will return for the end of the weekend, with high temperatures around 55 degrees, making for a pleasant, yet cool afternoon.

NEXT WEEK: A warming trend will return for next week, with lower 60s on Monday, and mid to upper 60s through midweek. Unsettled weather looks to return for midweek next week, with rain expected for Halloween on Thursday.
