Midnight Update: We still have plenty of clouds over us tonight, and will continue to have plenty of clouds over us now through early next week.  The latest weather models hold off the bulk of the rain for Central and Eastern KY until Saturday afternoon (Central KY) and Saturday night (Eastern KY).  Rain showers look to move into Louisville around midday Saturday, so have the rain gear with you if you're heading to the Kentucky Derby on Saturday.  We will have mid 70s for Friday, and then lower 60s for the weekend.

Saturday: A slow moving low pressures system will approach us from the west, with rain showers increasing throughout the day from west to east. Far eastern and northeastern parts of Kentucky may even miss out on most of the rain until Saturday night. In general we will have scattered rain showers throughout the day, especially as the day goes on. Saturday high temperatures will be around 63 degrees. Rainfall amounts look to be between 0.10” and 0.25”.

Saturday Night: We will continue to have cloudy skies and scattered rain showers, with overnight low temperatures around 49 degrees.

Sunday: We will have cloudy skies and lingering rain chances throughout the day, with a high of 62 degrees. Rainfall amounts look to be between 0.25” and 0.50”. The highest rainfall looks to be across southern and southwest parts of Kentucky.

Next Week: Lingering rain chances will continue for Monday through Wednesday, with Monday being the best chance for rain. Temperatures will remain cooler for Monday, with a high of 62 degrees, yet upper 60s to lower 70s return Tuesday through Friday of next week.
