Expect the best chance for rain overnight to be south of I-64 and west of I-75. Overnight low temperatures will be around 58 degrees. Scattered rain showers will be possible throughout Wednesday, with the best chance for rain remaining south of I-64. Rainfall amounts look to be around 0.25" on average, with higher amounts closer to 0.50" along the Kentucky-Tennessee state line. Wednesday high temperatures will be around 75 degrees. More sunshine returns Thursday into the weekend, with temperatures in the upper 70s to lower 80s.
We’ve started the work week off with plenty of sunshine, yet clouds and the chance for rain returns for Wednesday. A warming trend returns for the end of the work week and into the weekend.
TONIGHT: We will have increasing clouds tonight, with the chance for a few isolated rain showers into early Wednesday. Overnight low temperatures will not be as chilly, with a low of 58 degrees.
WEDNESDAY: A low pressure system will move through the region on Wednesday, bringing the chance for scattered rain showers throughout the day. Skies will be mostly cloudy overall, with a high of 75 degrees.
THURSDAY: More sunshine returns for Thursday, with partly cloudy skies and a high of 77 degrees. A warming trend will begin Thursday and continue into the weekend.
FRIDAY: We will have partly cloudy skies and a high of 79 degrees for Friday afternoon, with temperatures around 74 degrees for the start of the high school football games Friday evening.
WEEKEND: Saturday looks to start off the weekend dry, with partly cloudy skies and a high of 82 degrees. The chance for scattered rain showers will return for late Sunday, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 78 degrees. A cold front will move through Sunday night into early Monday.
