Midnight Update:  Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will continue into the early morning hours of Wednesday, yet the threat for severe weather has greatly reduced.  The biggest threat through early Wednesday will be localized flooding, with isolated thunderstorms possibly containing gusty winds and large hail.  As a cold front continues to move eastward through early Wednesday, the bulk of the rain will shift east of I-75.  After a few lingering rain showers for the morning commute of Wednesday, mostly cloudy skies will continue with the chance for a spotty rain shower through the day.  Wednesday will be cooler, with a high of 68 degrees.  Temperatures will be even cooler for Thursday and Friday, with highs in the lower 60s, with the chance for an isolated rain shower.  Temperatures get back into the mid to upper 60s for the weekend, with the 70s returning for next week.
We will have a chance for strong to severe thunderstorms tonight as a cold front moves through the region. The biggest threats with any severe weather will be gusty winds, heavy rainfall, and large hail. Cooler air will return for the rest of the work week, with lingering isolated rain chances for the rest of the work week.

TONIGHT: A cold front will approach and move through the region, giving us the chance for scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Overnight low temperatures will fall to around 55 degrees by Wednesday morning.

WEDNESDAY: Lingering rain showers and thunderstorms will be possible on Wednesday, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 68 degrees.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY: Cooler temperatures return for the end of the work week, with a high of 61 degrees Thursday afternoon, and a high of 62 degrees Friday. There will be a chance for widely scattered to isolated rain showers on Thursday and Friday, with partly to mostly cloudy skies.

WEEKEND: Cool temperatures continue for the weekend, with a high of 66 degrees on Saturday, and a high of 69 degrees on Sunday. There will be a chance for an isolated rain shower on Saturday.
