Midnight Update:  Skies have cleared across Central and Eastern Kentucky this evening, and we should be rain-free through the morning hours of Tuesday, with a morning low of 67 degrees.  Tuesday will feature increasing clouds and rain chances into the afternoon and evening hours.  Rain and thunderstorm chances will remain scattered for Tuesday, with better chances for more widespread rain for Wednesday and Thursday, as a cold front moves into the region and stalls.  High temperatures will be back in the mid 80s Tuesday afternoon, with upper 70s Wednesday, and 60s for highs Thursday through the weekend.
Warm and humid conditions will continue for tonight and Tuesday, with increasing rain chances for midweek, and cooler temperatures late this week and into the weekend.

TONIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy skies will continue for this evening, with the chance for some isolated thunderstorms early. Overnight will feature partly cloudy skies with a warm and muggy overnight low temperature of 67 degrees.

TUESDAY: The above normal temperatures and humid conditions will continue for Tuesday, with partly sunny skies and a high of 86 degrees. There will be a chance for scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, with a few thunderstorms possibly containing gusty winds.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Mild temperatures will continue with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms possible. Overnight low temperatures will be around 62 degrees by Wednesday morning.

WEDNESDAY: A cold front will move into the region and stall on Wednesday, giving us a better chance for more widespread rain showers and thunderstorms. Wednesday high temperatures will be around 77 degrees, with mostly cloudy skies.

THURSDAY: Rain and thunderstorm chances will continue for Thursday, with a cooler high temperature of 68 degrees, and mostly cloudy skies.

FRIDAY: A few lingering rain showers will be possible for Friday, with partly cloudy skies and high of only 63 degrees.
