Afternoon Update:

As of lunch time, temperatures were in the teens with wind chills in the single digits.  That sunshine is very deceptive. It looks like it should be 72 degrees outside, but when you actually step outside, that brisk wind along with the frigid cold temps will stop you in your tracks!

Overnight tonight will be very cold again.  With temperatures in the upper single digits and low teens, expect wind chills again tomorrow to be at or below zero!

The coldest air of the season has arrived.  This morning, temperatures, but more significantly, wind chills are in the single digits and at some points, below zero.  Look for temperatures by lunch time hovering around the 15 degree mark with wind chills still in the single digits.  Dress in layers with thick gloves, a thick hat and a big winter coat.  Highs today will only top out in the upper teens & low 20s under partly cloudy skies.  Wind chills through the afternoon will still be in the upper single digits and low teens, so that's what you want to dress for!

Overnight lows should tumble into the low teens with wind chills again near 0 degrees.

There is a little "warm up" in your 7-day -- join me at Noon on ABC 36 for more.

Face-numbingly cold wind chills near 0 degrees! **DRESS EXTRA WARM** http://t.co/IdwA0huU
