Evening Update:

We're tracking increasing clouds this evening which will lead to mostly cloudy skies by daybreak Sunday.  A few isolated showers will move in during the early morning hours Sunday with a line of heavier showers and storms by mid to late afternoon.  Though we're not forecasting any strong or severe storms Sunday, a few of the thunderstorms could produce gusty winds and heavy rainfall.

I hope you enjoyed the sunshine here in your Saturday!  That allowed for temps to soar into the low 40s in the Blue Grass with near 50 degree heat further towards the south.

Tonight, we're forecasting partly cloudy skies with increasing clouds during the overnight hours into early Sunday morning.  Though we could see an isolated shower first thing Sunday morning, I think the better best for showers and storms rolls in by mid to late afternoon Sunday.  Our target timing on showers and storms moving into our Blue Grass counties is around 4pm with rain and t-storms advancing east bound around dinner time.  At this time, I'm not expecting any of the thunderstorms that we see to be severe; however, a few could produce heavy rainfall at times.  Highs Sunday should spike in the mid 50s!
