Midnight Update:  Light, scattered rain showers have developed across the region tonight, with rain chances continuing throughout the day Friday.  Friday will feature our last day of 50s (high of 57 degrees), before much colder air returns.  A cold front will move through Friday night, with highs around 39 degrees on Saturday, and 32 degrees on Sunday.  Temperatures remain in the upper 30s to lower 40s through next week, with the chance for some wintry precipitation next Tuesday through Wednesday.

Rain showers develop tonight, with more rain throughout Friday. Much colder air moves in this weekend, with below normal temperatures continuing through Thanksgiving.

TONIGHT: Rain showers will develop tonight, with overnight low temperatures around 49 degrees.

FRIDAY: Rain showers will be possible throughout the day, so have the umbrella and rain jacket with you. Rainfall amounts look to average between a half-inch and one-inch. Friday high temperatures will be around 57 degrees.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Rain showers will linger Friday night yet will diminish in coverage by early Saturday morning, as a cold front moves through the region. Overnight low temperatures will be around 33 degrees.

SATURDAY: A few spotty rain showers will be possible for mainly Eastern and South-Central Kentucky early Saturday morning, with cloudy skies and cold temperatures. Clouds will diminish Saturday afternoon, with high temperatures struggling to reach 39 degrees.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Skies will become mostly clear, with a frigid overnight low temperature of 20 degrees.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny skies return for Sunday as high pressure builds across the region, yet afternoon high temperatures will only be around 32 degrees!

NEXT WEEK: Monday morning temperatures will be in the upper teens to around 20 degrees, with partly sunny skies for Monday, and an afternoon high of 37 degrees. A developing weather system will bring the chance for rain and a wintry mix Tuesday through Wednesday, with high temperatures in the upper 30s to lower 40s. Thanksgiving Day is looking mostly sunny with a high of 40 degrees.
