The chance for rain will stay in the forecast through Saturday. Friday will be warm and humid, with cooler temperatures returning for the weekend, as a cold front moves through.

TONIGHT: We will have decreasing clouds tonight, with some patchy fog developing. Overnight low temperatures will be around 65 degrees, with muggy conditions.

FRIDAY: Clouds will increase throughout the day Friday, as a cold front approaches the region by late in the day. Friday high temperatures will be around 81 degrees, which will also be our warmest day of the week. There will be a chance for some scattered rain showers and thunderstorms by the afternoon and evening hours. However, the bulk of the rain associated with the approaching cold front, does not look to move in until Friday night.

SATURDAY: The chance for rain will increase for early Saturday as a cold front moves into Kentucky. Weather models are showing the potential for a good soaking rain on Saturday morning, with decreasing rain showers by late in the day. With cloudy skies and rain showers during the day, high temperatures will only reach 74 degrees.

SUNDAY: The latest weather models are now taking the cold front further to the east and away for Sunday, which will give us clearing skies. Our first official day of fall is Sunday, with partly cloudy skies and a high of 71 degrees.

NEXT WEEK: Temperatures will remain in the mid 70s to near 80 degrees for next week, with generally partly sunny skies.
