Staying Warm & Muggy For Friday Into Saturday

Midnight Update:  Skies have cleared across the region, with patchy fog expected to develop into early Friday morning.  Overnight low temperatures will be around 62 degrees.  Friday will feature partly sunny skies with a high temperature of 83 degrees.  There will be a chance for a spotty rain shower on Friday, yet most of us should stay dry.  Saturday will be a warm start to the weekend, with a high of 83 degrees, and the chance for isolated rain showers and thunderstorms.  A better chance for rain returns on Sunday as a cold front moves through the region.  Sunday high temperatures will be around 72 degrees.  Temperatures remain the upper 60s to lower 70s for early next week.

Unseasonably warm temperatures and muggy conditions will continue for the rest of the week, with the chance for spotty rain showers and thunderstorms each afternoon. Cooler temperatures and better rain chances return for Sunday, as a cold front moves through the region.

TONIGHT: Rain showers and thunderstorms will diminish early tonight, with partly cloudy skies overnight and patchy fog. Overnight low temperatures will be around 62 degrees.

FRIDAY: We will start off your Friday morning with some patchy fog, with partly cloudy skies into the afternoon. Friday will remain warm and muggy, with a high of 83 degrees. There is a slight chance for an isolated rain shower or thunderstorm on Friday, yet most of us look to stay dry. Temperatures will be around 75 degrees at the start of the high school football games Friday evening.

Friday Night: Partly cloudy skies will continue Friday night into early Saturday, with an overnight low temperature of 64 degrees.

WEEKEND: The warm temperatures continue for the start of your Keeneland weekend, with highs around 84 degrees on Saturday. Skies will generally be partly cloudy on Saturday, with an isolated rain shower or thunderstorm possible. A cold front will move through the region on Sunday, bringing better rain chances and cooler temperatures. Sunday will feature mostly cloudy to cloudy skies, with light to moderate rain showers, and a high of 72 degrees.

NEXT WEEK: Cooler temperatures will continue for early next week, with upper 60s to around 70 degrees. The chance for rain showers will linger for Monday, with more sunshine developing by midweek next week.
