Early Weekend Update:  We will have increasing clouds and rain chances for your Saturday as a cold front approaches the region.  Any thunderstorms that develop will be capable of heavy rainfall, frequent lightning, and possible gusty winds.  Saturday afternoon high temperatures will be around 89 degrees, making for another warm and humid afternoon.  Sunday will feature lingering rain chances as the cold front stalls over the area, with a high of 86 degrees.  The chance for rain lingers into next week, with high temperatures in the mid 80s.

Unsettled weather will continue this weekend as a cold moves through, and brings lingering rain chances. Temperatures will remain warm this weekend and next week, yet will not be as hot as this past week.

Tonight: There will be a chance for some isolated thunderstorms through the evening, with gusty winds, lightning, and heavy rainfall the biggest threats. We will have mild overnight low temperatures around 71 degrees, with some patchy fog developing.

Saturday: A cold front will approach the region from the northwest on Saturday, causing scattered thunderstorms to develop throughout the afternoon and evening hours. Temperatures will remain warm and humid, with an afternoon high of 89 degrees.

Saturday Night: The cold front will move through Kentucky Saturday night, with lingering rain chances possible overnight Saturday into Sunday, with low temperatures around 70 degrees.

Sunday: With the cold front stalling out over the region, the chance for rain and thunderstorms will linger throughout the day. Temperatures will top out around 86 degrees Sunday afternoon.

Next Week: Temperatures look to remain in the mid 80s for the start of next week, with partly sunny skies and the chance for late day thunderstorms.
