Afternoon Update:

Clouds will be on the increase this afternoon and into the evening hours tonight.  With the clouds will come the showers and a few thunderstorms by the overnight into early Wednesday morning.

Chief Meteorologist Jason Myers will have all the details and timing of the showers tonight on ABC 36 News at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm.

_____________________________________________________________________________________________________

After a comfortably cool start this morning, look for a mild lunch break with temps in the mid 60s under mostly sunny skies.  Into this afternoon, we're forecasting low 70s for highs with a few more passing clouds.  We'll continue increasing our clouds into this evening with overnight showers and thunderstorms into early Wednesday morning.  Overnight lows should fall into the low 50s.

Showers and isolated storms are in the forecast by your Wednesday morning.  Given the clouds, scattered showers and spotty thunderstorms, highs will only manage to make it into the mid 50s for highs tomorrow.  By late Wednesday into early Thursday, skies should begin to clear, and sunshine should poke out through the clouds by Thursday afternoon.
