Snow Showers Possible Tonight Through Tuesday

Snow showers will develop tonight as a weather disturbance moves through, and linger into Tuesday as a cold front moves through. Cold temperatures continue for Tuesday and Wednesday, with milder temperatures returning by late in the week.
Midnight Update:  Flurries have been developing this evening over North-Central Kentucky, with the chance for snow continuing through the morning hours of Tuesday, and into the afternoon.  After a morning low of 28 degrees, Tuesday afternoon high temperatures will be around 37 degrees.  Only one inch or less of snowfall is expected through Tuesday.  Sunny skies return for Wednesday, yet it will remain cold, with morning low temperatures in the mid-teens and afternoon high temperatures around 39 degrees.  Milder air returns for Thursday, with a high of 55 degrees.  Friday will feature the chance for rain, yet high temperatures will reach 61 degrees.  Temperatures will be in the upper 50s to around 60 degrees for the weekend. 
We will have another chance for snow tonight through Tuesday, with cold temperatures lingering into Wednesday. Milder temperatures return Thursday through the end of the week.

TONIGHT: A weather disturbance will move through the region, bringing the chance for snow showers overnight. The best chance for snow overnight looks to be north of the Cumberland and Hal Rogers Parkways. Overnight low temperatures will be around 28 degrees. Most of the snow looks to accumulate on grassy surfaces and elevated surfaces tonight.

TUESDAY: The chance for snow will linger through the day Tuesday, as a cold front moves through. Snowfall amounts look to be one inch or less on average. Tuesday will also be a cold and breezy day, with a high of 37 degrees and wind gusts up around 25 mph at times.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Skies will clear overnight Tuesday into Wednesday as high pressure builds back into the region. Temperatures will be frigid, with Wednesday morning low temperatures around 16 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: We will have sunny skies return for Wednesday, yet temperatures will only reach 39 degrees for the afternoon high temperature.

THURSDAY: Seasonal temperatures return for Thursday, with partly sunny skies and a high of 55 degrees. There will be a chance for a few late day rain showers as well.

FRIDAY: A better chance for rain showers returns on Friday as a cold front approaches and moves through. Despite the extra clouds and rain chances, temperatures will still warm up to around 61 degrees.

WEEKEND: The chance for rain will linger into early Saturday, with clearing skies expected Saturday afternoon, with a high of 58 degrees. Sunday will be a pleasant day, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 60 degrees.

NEXT WEEK: Temperatures remain mild for the start of next week, with partly sunny skies and a high of 65 next Monday, and around 60 degrees for next Tuesday.
