Hot And Humid Conditions Continue With Scattered Thunderstorms

Above normal high temperatures continue this week, with more scattered rain showers and thunderstorms possible. Any thunderstorms could produce gusty winds, cloud to ground lightning, and heavy rainfall.
Midnight Update:  Rain and thunderstorms have stayed north of the Ohio River so far tonight, with mostly clear skies over Kentucky.  Some patchy fog may develop for the early morning commute, with morning low temperatures around 71 degrees.  Thursday afternoon will feature partly sunny skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, and high temperatures around 89 degrees.  Temperatures stay in the upper 80s for Friday into the weekend, with more scattered, late day thunderstorms possible.

The heat and humidity will continue for the rest of the work week, with the chance for scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

TONIGHT: Skies will be mostly clear to partly cloudy tonight, with an overnight low temperature of 71 degrees.

THURSDAY: Partly sunny skies will be around for Thursday, with high temperatures remaining around 89 degrees, with the chance for scattered, late day thunderstorms.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Skies will be partly cloudy Thursday night, with an overnight low temperature of 70 degrees.

FRIDAY: Partly cloudy skies will continue for Friday, with the chance for scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Friday afternoon high temperatures will be around 88 degrees.

WEEKEND: Temperatures will be in the upper 80s this weekend, with partly to mostly cloudy skies and the chance for scattered rain showers.

NEXT WEEK: Temperatures will be in the mid 80s to near 90 degrees next week, with lingering late-day rain chances.
