Cold Temperatures & Wintry Precipitation In The Forecast

We will have clear skies tonight, with overnight low temperatures falling to around 11 degrees. Wind chills will be in the lower single digits for the Friday morning hours. Clouds increase throughout the day Friday, with a high of 38 degrees.
Midnight Update:  Clear skies will continue overnight, and with light winds, temperatures are continuing to fall into the lower teens.  Friday morning low temperatures will be around 11 degrees.  Wind chills will be in the single digits through your Friday morning hours, so bundle up!  Friday will feature increasing clouds, with a high of 38 degrees.  There will be a chance for a little light snow and rain Friday night into Saturday morning, yet no major accumulations are expected.  Saturday will be a decent start to the weekend, with high temperatures in the upper 40s and mostly cloudy skies.  There will be a slight chance for a few rain sprinkles Saturday afternoon.  Another weather system will move through the region Sunday into Monday, bringing the chance for rain and freezing rain on Sunday into Sunday night, and sleet and snow for Monday.  Arctic air moves back in for next week, with Monday's temperatures not getting above freezing all day, leading to icy conditions.

FRIDAY: The arctic chill continues for the end of the work week, with a high of 38 degrees and increasing clouds throughout the afternoon. There will be a chance for light snow showers mixed with rain, Friday night into early Saturday, with no major accumulations expected.

WEEKEND: After some possible snow showers Saturday morning, with low temperatures around 30 degrees, Saturday afternoon will feature mostly cloudy skies with a high of 47 degrees. Cloudy skies will return Saturday night, with rain developing Saturday night into Sunday. Sunday looks to feature rain, with freezing rain possible late in the day, and an afternoon high of 36 degrees.

NEXT WEEK: The chance for a wintry mix of freezing rain, sleet, and snow will be possible Sunday night through Monday, making for a messy start to next week. Monday morning low temperatures look to start off around 25 degrees, with temperatures staying below freezing all day, as high temperatures only reaching 30 degrees. This means that anything that falls on Monday, could freeze on surfaces and cause icy conditions. Temperatures remain cold next week, with highs in the upper 20s on Tuesday and lower 30s on Wednesday.
