Lingering Rain Chances And Cool Temperatures

Lingering Rain Chances And Cool Temperatures

Temperatures will remain below normal tonight through the weekend, so have a jacket with you. Scattered rain showers will be possible for Friday, with isolated rain for South Central Kentucky on Saturday.
Midnight Update:  Skies are remaining mostly cloudy tonight, with light, scattered rain showers developing across Western Kentucky.  We will continue to have the chance for spotty rain showers through your Friday morning commute.  Scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms will be possible through Friday afternoon with mostly cloudy skies and a high of only 60 degrees.  We will have a little break in the rain and even cloud cover from Friday night into Saturday morning, which may help temperatures fall into the upper 30s to near 40 degrees.  So there is concern for some patchy frost early Saturday morning.  Saturday will continue to have mostly cloudy skies, with isolated rain showers possible for Southern Kentucky.  Saturday afternoon high temperatures will be around 61 degrees.  Sunday will feature partly sunny skies with a high temperature of 66 degrees.  Temperatures get back into the low to mid 70s for Monday and Tuesday, with high temperatures around 80 degrees by Wednesday.
