Wind Chill Advisories For Early Thursday

Wind Chill Advisories are in effect for most of the viewing area tonight into Thursday, with wind chills ranging from -5 to -15 degrees at times.
Midnight Update:  An arctic cold front is approaching the region from the northwest, and will move through during the early morning hours of Thursday, giving us the chance for a quick dusting to 1" of snowfall.  A reinforcement of cold, arctic air will move in behind the cold front, giving us wind chills in the -5 to -15 degree range, with temperatures only in the single digits to around 10 degrees.  Skies start off cloudy Thursday morning with flurries possible.  Thursday afternoon will feature decreasing clouds.  Skies clear Thursday night into Friday morning, allowing many locations to have Friday morning low temperatures around -2 degrees.  Friday will feature mostly sunny skies with high temperatures around 17 degrees.  Temperatures get back into the 30s this weekend, with more snow chances for Saturday and again for late Sunday into early Monday. 
Wind Chill Advisories are in effect for portions of the viewing area overnight into early Thursday, with wind chills ranging from -5 to -15 degrees. Cold, arctic air will continue to move into the region, with temperatures staying below normal through the extended forecast.

TONIGHT: Another cold front will move through the region tonight, bringing the chance for some flurries and light snow showers, with overnight low temperatures around 3 degrees. Winds will also pick up overnight, with wind chills around -10 degrees.

THURSDAY: We will start off your morning with wind chills around -5 to -15 degrees, with some flurries possible. Clouds will decrease by Thursday afternoon, with a high temperature of only 10 degrees.

THURSDAY NIGHT: Temperatures will fall to around zero degrees by Friday morning, as skies clear and winds diminish. Friday morning low temperatures will be around -2 degrees.

FRIDAY: More sunshine develops for Friday as high pressure builds back into the region. After Friday morning low temperatures start off around -2 degrees, high temperatures will only be around 17 degrees.

WEEKEND: Another chance for snow will return for Saturday as another cold front moves through the region. Saturday morning low temperatures will start off around 15 degrees, with high temperatures around 32 degrees. Light snowfall accumulations will be possible through the day. Temperatures may get a little milder on Sunday, ahead of another cold front that will move through Sunday night into Monday. Sunday afternoon high temperatures are forecasted to be in the lower 30s at this time, yet could be a little milder depending on how everything comes together this weekend.

NEXT WEEK: Any slight warm-up for this weekend will quickly come to an end as more arctic air returns by Monday, with high temperatures only around 18 degrees. High temperatures look to remain in the mid to upper teens through midweek next week.
