Rain Chances Continue For The Weekend

Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will continue for Saturday, with isolated rain and thunderstorms for Sunday. Temperatures remain warm through early next week, with a cooldown for midweek next week.
 
The chance for scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will continue for Saturday. Temperatures will remain warm through the weekend, with highs in the mid 70s Saturday to around 80 degrees for Mother’s Day. Another round of rain showers, along will cooler temperatures return by midweek next week.

SATURDAY: Scattered rain showers will be possible, especially for the morning and early afternoon hours. Saturday afternoon high temperatures will be around 76 degrees.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Rain chances continue for Saturday night, yet activity will be more isolated, with an overnight low temperature of 61 degrees.

SUNDAY: The chance for isolated rain showers and thunderstorms will continue for Mother’s Day Sunday, with a high of 81 degrees and partly cloudy skies.

NEXT WEEK: Temperatures will remain warm for the start of next week, with high temperatures in the low to mid 80s for Monday and Tuesday, with isolated rain showers and thunderstorms. The chance for rain will increase late Tuesday into Wednesday as another cold front approaches and moves into the region. The cold front is expected to move through Kentucky Wednesday morning, which will be our best chance for rain next week. Cooler air moves in behind the cold front for Wednesday through the end of next week, with high temperatures in the mid to upper 60s.
