Happy Friday!

Have your umbrellas on hand overnight tonight into Saturday.  We're tracking showers moving into central KY.  By late evening, as temperatures begin to fall close to freezing, look for a rain/sleet mix.  Overnight into early Saturday morning, that rain/sleet mix will again transition to snow...mainly in the Blue Grass and mountains of eastern KY.  In terms of snowfall accumulations, look for up to an inch of snow in our Blue Grass counties.  Towards Cincy, snowfall totals will be closer to 2 inches.  In the mountains of eastern KY, we're expecting about an inch with higher elevations seeing upwards to 2 inches of snow by the time this next system winds down on Saturday evening.

Sunday looks like the better of the two days this weekend.  Look for highs Saturday and Sunday only in the low to mid 30s.

Join us tonight at 11pm on ABC 36 for more on your forecast.

Here Comes Old Man Winter! Showers & snow are moving into the Blue Grass. More at 5pm & 6pm on @ABC36Lexington. http://t.co/9sQuLi04
