Rain Showers And Thunderstorms Possible Friday

Midnight Update:  Rain showers have been moving into Indianapolis, Indiana and Northern Ohio, and will continue to move closer to Kentucky for your Friday morning commute.  Most of the rain will be north of I-64 for the morning commute, yet rain will become more widespread for your Friday afternoon.  There will also be a chance for a few thunderstorms, yet we are NOT expecting any organized severe weather.  Friday high temperatures will be around 66 degrees.  Rainfall amounts will generally be 0.25" to 0.50", with only about 0.10" of rain for Southern Kentucky.  Rain showers will diminish Friday night into Saturday morning.  There will be a chance for a few spotty rain showers early Saturday, yet we are expecting more clouds than rain.  Saturday afternoon high temperatures will be around 73 degrees.  Sunday will be even warmer, with partly sunny skies and a high of 77 degrees. 
Breezy conditions will continue tonight, with another round of rain showers and thunderstorms on Friday. Mild temperatures continue through the weekend, with cooler temperatures next week.

TONIGHT: Breezy southwesterly winds will continue tonight, with mostly cloudy skies. Overnight will not be as cold, with low temperatures around 52 degrees.

FRIDAY: A cold front will move into Kentucky on Friday, giving us cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Friday high temperatures will be around 66 degrees.

FRIDAY NIGHT: Skies will remain mostly cloudy Friday night, with an isolated rain shower possible. Saturday morning low temperatures will be around 51 degrees.

SATURDAY: Temperatures will remain mild for the weekend, with a high of 73 degrees on Saturday. Skies will be partly to mostly cloudy on Saturday, with a chance for a few isolated rain showers.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Skies will be partly cloudy Saturday night, with overnight low temperatures around 55 degrees.

SUNDAY: Skies will generally be partly sunny for Sunday, with high temperatures around 77 degrees.

NEXT WEEK: Another good soaking rain will be possible late Monday into early Tuesday, with Monday high temperatures around 67 degrees, and Tuesday high temperatures around 52 degrees. Cooler temperatures return for Wednesday, with the chance for some morning frost Wednesday morning, with low temperatures around 33 degrees. Wednesday high temperatures will be around 56 degrees.
