Midnight Update:  Skies have been clearing across the region tonight, with diminishing winds.  Overnight low temperatures look to fall into the mid to upper 50s.

You may want a light jacket for the early morning commute, yet get ready for much warmer temperatures with Tuesday afternoon highs around 80 degrees!  The record high for Tuesday is 84 degrees set back in 1919.

Temperatures will be even warmer for Wednesday, with a high of 83 degrees, which looks to tie the record high of 83 degrees set on April 10th, 2011.

Rain showers and thunderstorms return for Thursday as a cold front moves over the region, with high temperatures around 72 degrees.  There is the possibility for isolated strong to severe thunderstorms for the afternoon and evening hours of Thursday as well.

Temperatures return to the 50s for Friday and Saturday, with dry conditions expected for the weekend ahead.
