Rain Chances Return With Cooler Temperatures

Midnight Update:  We have had a few spotty rain showers tonight, yet the bulk of the rain approaching from the west Tuesday afternoon, has weakened.  We expect more scattered rain showers throughout the day Wednesday, with some lingering rain chances into Thursday as well.  Wednesday high temperatures will be around 67 degrees, with lower 60s Thursday through the weekend.

A cold front will move through the region on Wednesday, bringing the chance for rain and cooler temperatures for the rest of the week.

TONIGHT: We will continue to have cloudy skies and the chance for spotty rain showers overnight. Overnight low temperatures will be around 58 degrees.

WEDNESDAY: Scattered rain showers will be possible throughout the day as a cold front slowly moves through Kentucky. Along with cloudy skies and rain chances, temperatures will be cooler, with a high of 67 degrees.

WEDNESDAY NIGHT: Cooler air will move in Wednesday night, with cloudy skies continuing and overnight low temperatures around 45 degrees. There will also be a chance for some isolated rain showers as well.

THURSDAY: A few lingering rain showers will be possible, with mostly cloudy skies and a high of 62 degrees.

FRIDAY – WEEKEND: Mostly sunny skies return Friday into the weekend, with morning low temperatures in the lower 40s, and afternoon high temperatures in the lower 60s.

NEXT WEEK: Temperatures remain in the low to mid 60s into early next week, with partly sunny skies, and the chance for rain showers by midweek next week.
