Warming Trend Ahead, With Rain Chances Next Week

Midnight Update:  Skies have cleared across most of Kentucky, with some lingering cloud cover over far Southern Kentucky.  Early Friday morning low temperatures will be in the lower 60s, with Friday afternoon featuring mostly sunny skies and highs around 87 degrees.  Temperatures will be in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees this weekend.  A few rain showes and thunderstorms will be possible on Sunday, with more numerous rain showers and thunderstorms developing for Monday and Tuesday, as a cold front approaches and moves through Kentucky.  Much cooler air returns for next Wednesday, with highs in the 70s!
We will have mostly clear skies tonight, with cool and comfortable conditions overnight.  Warm temperatures and mostly sunny skies will return for Friday, with less humidity.  Warmer temperatures and more humidity returns this weekend, with increasing rain chances for early next week.  Cooler temperatures return for midweek next week.

TONIGHT:  Skies will be mostly clear tonight, with overnight low temperatures around 63 degrees.

FRIDAY:  We will have mostly sunny skies for Friday, with afternoon high temperatures around 87 degrees.

FRIDAY NIGHT:  Skies will be partly cloudy Friday night, with overnight low temperatures around 64 degrees.

NEXT WEEKEND:  Temperatures are expected to be in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees this weekend, with the chance for a few late day rain showers and thunderstorms.

NEXT WEEK:  Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will be possible early next week, with high temperatures in the low to mid 80s.  Temperatures cool into the upper 70s to near 80 degrees midweek next week.
