Increasing clouds this afternoon will lead to a few spotty showers during the mid and late day. Highs today should top out in the low to mid 50s with more clouds and showers rolling in by your Friday.

As you're waking up here on a Thursday morning, you'll notice partly cloudy skies with patches of light frost in several areas. We're in the upper 40s by lunch with mid 50s by mid afternoon. Clouds should continue to increase with isolated showers in the forecast. Though a few of us could see drops of rain, I think most of us should stay dry. Overnight lows should dip into the mid 40s under mostly cloudy skies.
Friday should feature a better shot for a few showers mainly in our northern Blue Grass counties and highs in the upper 50s.
