Midnight Update: Clouds are increasing across the area tonight, with temperatures generally in the 60s overnight. Winds have diminished tonight, and although it will be a little breezy, we do not anticipate it to be as windy as Wednesday. Scattered rain showers and possible thunderstorms look to develop by late Thursday, with gusty winds, lightning, and heavy rainfall being the biggest threats.
We will continue to have warm temperatures through the extended forecast, with rain chances returning for the rest of the week
Tonight: Skies will be partly cloudy with overnight low temperatures around 61 degrees.
Thursday: A cold fron...t will stall to our north on Thursday, providing the chance for some scattered late day rain showers and thunderstorms. The best chance for any rain or thunderstorms looks to be along and north of I-64. Thursday will remain warm, with high temperatures around 78 degrees.
Friday: Partly cloudy skies will be around for Friday, with the chance for late day rain showers and thunderstorms. Afternoon high temperatures will be around 80 degrees.
Weekend: Temperatures will remain warm through the weekend with highs around 80 degrees, under partly sunny skies. There will be the chance for scattered rain showers and thunderstorms late in the day.
Next Week: Temperatures will be in the lower 80s for the start of next week, with lingering late day rain chances.
