Afternoon Update:

It's a "cold lunch" this Monday with temps in the mid to upper 40s.  The clouds should slowly but surely erode from west towards the east through this afternoon.  As peaks of sunshine being to shine through, I'm anticipating temps to finally make it into the low to mid 50s. Pockets of cold mist and drizzle will prevail through this afternoon, especially in our eastern counties...so you may want to have an umbrella on hand just in case.

Join Chief Meteorologist Jennifer Schack tonight at 5pm, 6pm & 11pm for more on what could be a frosty start tomorrow.

Happy Monday!

After a ch-ch-ch chilly start to your Monday, look for highs to top out well below normal in the upper 50s.  The clouds that you're seeing outside should start to burn off some into this afternoon.  Additionally, east of I-75, cold scattered showers should prevail - have your umbrellas on standby just to be safe.  If you're sensitive to the heat, it's going to be one of those days where you debate whether to turn your heat on or keep it off.  This evening, I'm forecasting clouds to dissipate some, with an isolated shower or two in our eastern counties.  Overnight lows should dip into the upper 30s...so frost could be an issue again tomorrow morning.

By tomorrow, look for a little warm up with temps in the mid to upper 60s.  Sunshine should return by Tuesday with 70s in the forecast by the upcoming weekend!
