Milder Temperatures Return Thursday

Midnight Update:  Skies have remained mostly clear with light winds, which will help temperatures continue to fall into the lower 40s for the early morning hours of Thursday.  We may start off your Thursday with some clouds, yet we should have mostly sunny skies into your Thursday afternoon, with a high of 73 degrees.  A cold front will move through Friday morning, bringing the chance for rain showers and thunderstorms for early Friday.  By Friday afternoon, skies should clear with a high of 74 degrees.  This weekend looks dry with mostly sunny to partly sunny skies, and high temperatures around 70 degrees.

We will have chilly temperatures tonight with mostly clear skies, as overnight low temperatures fall into the lower 40s. Milder temperatures return Thursday through the weekend, with a return to the 70s. Another chance for rain showers and thunderstorms return Thursday night into Friday morning as a cold front moves through. Rain showers will linger from the early to mid part of next week.

TONIGHT: Skies will remain mostly clear tonight, with a chilly overnight low temperature of 43 degrees.

THURSDAY: Warmer air returns for Thursday, with mostly sunny to partly sunny skies and a high of 73 degrees. There will be a chance for rain showers and isolated thunderstorms Thursday night into Friday morning.

THURSDAY NIGHT: The bulk of the rain looks to develop after midnight Friday, and during the early morning hours, as a cold front approaches and moves through. Rainfall amounts look to average between 0.10” to 0.25”. Overnight low temperatures will be around 55 degrees.

FRIDAY: Rain showers and thunderstorms will be possible for Friday morning, with clearing skies by late in the day. Friday afternoon high temperatures will be around 74 degrees.

WEEKEND: Partly sunny skies will be around for Saturday, with a high of 72 degrees. Sunday will feature partly cloudy skies with a high of 70 degrees.

NEXT WEEK: A slow moving low pressure system will move into the region early next week, and stall over the area, providing the chance for lingering rain showers. Temperatures will be warmer Monday and Tuesday, with highs in the lower 70s Monday, and around 70 for Tuesday. Cooler temperatures return by midweek next week, with highs around 60 degrees for Wednesday.
