Midnight Update:  Skies have cleared across Kentucky, with temperatures expected to fall into the lower 40s by early Thursday.  Thursday will feature mostly sunny skies with high temperatures back around 73 degrees.  Thursday will also be windy, with southwesterly winds gusting up to 35 mph at times.  A cold front will drop into Kentucky from our northwest, and bring rain showers and thunderstorms for Friday, especially for areas along and north of I-64.  Because of the extra clouds and rain chances, Friday high temperatures will be around 67 degrees.  Temperatures remain mild for the weekend, with a high of 70 degrees on Saturday, and 76 degrees for Sunday.
Warmer temperatures and windy conditions return for Thursday, with another round of scattered rain showers and thunderstorms on Friday. Mild temperatures continue through the weekend.

TONIGHT: Skies will remain partly cloudy this evening, with mostly clear skies overnight. Overnight low temperatures will be around 42 degrees. The International Space Station will have a flyover this evening, rising at 8:37pm, and at its highest in the sky at 8:40pm. Just look to the west-southwest to view the ISS. Also, Mars will appear larger and brighter as it has its closest approach with Earth on April 14th. Mars will rise out of the east, and be directly overhead around midnight.

THURSDAY: Gusty winds will develop out of the south to southwest on Thursday, helping high temperatures quickly get back into the lower 70s. Thursday will be a mild day, with mostly sunny skies and a high of 73 degrees.

FRIDAY: Another cold front will approach and move into Northern Kentucky on Friday, with increasing clouds and rain showers developing. Friday high temperatures will be around 67 degrees.

WEEKEND: Temperatures will remain mild for the weekend, with a high of 70 degrees on Saturday, and a high of 76 degrees on Sunday. Skies will generally be partly sunny through the weekend, with a slight chance for some rain showers on Saturday.

EARLY NEXT WEEK: Another good soaking rain will be possible Monday into Tuesday, with Monday high temperatures around 65 degrees, and Tuesday high temperatures around 55 degrees.
