Midnight Update: Skies have cleared across the region, with a few passing clouds. Temperatures are in the lower 60s around 11pm, yet are expected to fall into the lower 50s. There is the chance for some patchy dense fog to develop for the early morning commute Tuesday. Tuesday afternoon with feature partly cloudy skies with a high temperature of 75 degrees. Our weather stays pleasant for the rest of the weekend, with upper 70s on Wednesday, and lower 80s for Thursday and Friday. There will be a chance for a few isolated rain showers Friday into Saturday, with highs in the low to mid 80s for the weekend.
Overnight low temperatures may set a new record, as temperatures fall into the lower 50s tonight. Pleasant temperatures continue for Tuesday, with a slight warm-up through the week. Rain looks to be sparse this week, with slight chances for rain late this week.
TONIGHT: Skies will be partly cloudy tonight, with overnight low temperatures falling to around 53 degrees. The record low temperature for July 29th in Lexington is 54 degrees set in 2013. Patchy fog may also develop overnight as well.
TUESDAY: Skies will be partly cloudy for Tuesday, with a mild afternoon high temperature of 75 degrees.
TUESDAY NIGHT: Skies will be mostly clear to partly cloudy Tuesday night, with overnight low temperatures around 56 degrees. The record low temperature for July 30th is 51 degrees, set back in 1965.
WEDNESDAY: Our gradual warming trend begins on Wednesday, with partly cloudy skies and a high of 79 degrees.
THURSDAY: Temperatures get back into the lower 80s for Thursday, with a high of 82 degrees, and partly cloudy skies. There is a chance for an isolated rain shower, yet most areas will stay dry.
FRIDAY: Skies will be partly cloudy with isolated rain showers, and high temperatures around 83 degrees Friday afternoon.
WEEKEND: Skies will generally be partly cloudy through the weekend, with highs in the low to mid 80s. There will be a chance for a few rain showers on Saturday.
NEXT WEEK: Temperatures will be in the mid 80s early next week, with partly cloudy skies.
