Afternoon Update:

As of lunch time, we're tracking a good mix of clouds and sunshine with below freezing temperatures.  Into the middle half of this afternoon, look for highs to hover within a few degrees of freezing.  Additionally, we're anticipating those clouds to begin to thin on out through this afternoon.  If you're heading out to the UK Basketball Game starting at 6 p.m., look for temps only in the mid 20s - make sure you are wearing your thick winter clothes!

Happy 2nd Day of January!

We're cold with clouds this morning.  By late morning and early afternoon, I think we'll start to see a few more rays of sunshine break through those clouds.  That sunshine won't help to warm the temperatures up much.  If you're out and about, expect highs near freezing.  Partly sunny skies will be the name of the game today with no rain or snow expected.  If you are headed to the UK vs. Eastern Michigan basketball game at Rupp Arena, temps will only be in the mid to upper 20s by the start of the game with temps well below freezing by the time the game ends.  Overnight lows will dip down into the upper teens and low 20s.

You'll see more sunshine by tomorrow and through the end of the week.
