Beautiful Weather For Tuesday, With Rain Chances Wednesday

Midnight Update:  Skies have been clearing across Kentucky tonight, with temperatures in the lower 60s at 11pm.  Temperatures will continue to fall into the lower 50s, as cooler and drier air continues to get pushed into the region, from high pressure centered over Michigan.  We can expect to see mostly sunny skies for Tuesday, with high temperatures around 77 degrees.  The chance for a few widely scattered rain showers return for Wednesday, as a weak weather disturbance moves through the region.

We will have a mild start to the week, with a slight warming and more humid trend for Wednesday through the end of the work week. Temperatures overall remain seasonal, with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s. Rain and thunderstorm chances return for midweek, and late in the week.

TONIGHT: We will have clearing skies tonight with a cool overnight low temperature of 52 degrees

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny skies and pleasant conditions will be around for Tuesday, with lower humidity. Tuesday afternoon high temperatures will be around 77 degrees, making it one of the more comfortable days of the work week.

WEDNESDAY: A slight warming trend will begin Wednesday through the end of the work week, before a cold front moves through by early Saturday. Wednesday will feel more humid by the afternoon, as Gulf moisture begins to get transported into the region. Wednesday afternoon high temperatures will be around 78 degrees, with the chance for some scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.

THURSDAY: Temperatures will top out around 80 degrees Thursday afternoon with partly sunny skies and a slight chance for a few rain showers and thunderstorms.

FRIDAY: Clouds will increase throughout the day as a cold front approaches the region. Temperatures will remain warm, with a high of 82 degrees. Rain chances will increase by late in the day, and into Friday night and early Saturday, as the cold front approaches the moves through the region.

SATURDAY: The weekend will start off mostly cloudy with the chance for some rain, with drying conditions by late in the day. Saturday afternoon high temperatures will be around 78 degrees.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny skies return for the end of the weekend, with high temperatures around 79 degrees.
