Midnight Update:  We have had a few isolated rain showers and thunderstorms this evening, and will continue to have the chance for rain this weekend.  Even with the rain chances, we are not expected a total washout, mainly off and on rain showers.  If you're heading up to the Kentucky Speedway Saturday evening, for the Quaker State 400, I'd bring a rain jacket along just in case.  Have a fantastic weekend!

Milder temperatures return for the weekend with the chance for some rain showers.

Tonight: We will have partly cloudy skies overnight with low temperatures around 63 degrees, making for a pleasant night.

Saturday: An upper level disturbance will move into the region for the weekend, giving us some extra clouds and the chance for scattered rain showers. Saturday high temperatures will remain warm, with a high of 80 degrees, yet it will be below normal for this time of the year.

Saturday Night: After a few rain showers during the evening hours, we will have pleasant conditions Saturday evening into Sunday morning. For the Quaker State 400, temperatures will be around 73 degrees for the start of the race, and around 67 degrees for the end of the race. With the chance for some scattered rain showers, it would be a good idea to pack a rain jacket with you for the race. Overnight Saturday into Sunday low temperatures will be around 62 degrees.

Sunday: We will be even cooler for Sunday, with a high of 78 degrees, mostly cloudy skies, and the chance for a few scattered rain showers during the day.

Next Week: We will continue to have below normal temperatures for this time of the year, with highs in the low to mid 80s, and the chance for late day isolated rain showers. Looking ahead to the 4th of July, we look to have partly sunny skies, a high of 85 degrees, and the chance for an isolated rain shower.
