I hope you enjoyed that sunshine this morning.  A few of us are still waiting on that fog to burn off, especially in Monticello.  As the sun begins to rise, it will continue to warm things up and burn that fog off this morning.

By lunchtime today, expect temperatures in the mid to upper 80s.  Mostly sunny and dry will be the weather theme through your Thursday.  This afternoon, I'm anticipating temperatures to spike into the low 90.  As a side note, according to the Mayo Clinic, you should be drinking at least 8 glasses of liquid per day to stay well hydrated.  Into the evening hours, I'm calling for temperatures to dip into the low 70s.

Sunshine should dominate your day today; however, changes are in store for Friday. I'm forecasting showers and a few thunderstorms to develop during the peak of the afternoon.  A few of the storms that develop will put down a tremendous amount of rainfall with vivid cloud-to-ground lightning and gusty winds.
