Warmer Temperatures Return, With Midweek Rain Chances

Midnight Update:  A few passing clouds have been streaming through the region early tonight, with partly cloudy skies expected overnight.  We will start off your Tuesday morning with a cool low temperature of 55 degrees, with temperatures quickly warming into the lower 80s for Tuesday afternoon.  Skies will generally be partly sunny, along with gusty southwest winds up to 30 mph.  Temperatures remain warm for Wednesday, with high temperatures back into the lower 80s.  There will be a chance for scattered, late day rain showers and thunderstorms for Wednesday into Thursday.  Temperatures will be around 80 degrees for Thursday, with mid 70s returning for Friday.  The Memorial Day Weekend looks fantastic, with upper 70s to lower 80s and mostly sunny skies.  There will be a slight chance for some isolated, late day thunderstorms on Memorial Day Monday.

Warmer temperatures are back in the forecast this week, with midweek rain and thunderstorm chances. Memorial Day weekend looks to have cool mornings and warm afternoons, with plenty of sunshine.

TONIGHT: Mostly clear skies will continue for tonight, with a cool overnight low temperature of 55 degrees.

TUESDAY: Mostly sunny to partly sunny skies will be around for Tuesday, with warmer air returning to the region, with an afternoon high temperature of 83 degrees. Southwesterly winds will also be breezy, with sustained winds 10 to 20 mph.

TUESDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies will be around for Tuesday night, with a mild overnight low temperature of 62 degrees.

WEDNESDAY & THURSDAY: The chance for scattered rain showers and thunderstorms return for Wednesday and Thursday, with Wednesday afternoon high temperatures around 82 degrees. There is a chance that a few thunderstorms could become strong to severe on Wednesday, with gusty winds the biggest threat. Thursday will feature lingering scattered rain chances, with a high temperature of 80 degrees.

FRIDAY: Drier conditions return for Friday, with partly sunny skies and a pleasant high temperature of 76 degrees.

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND: We look to have very comfortable conditions for the upcoming Memorial Day Weekend, with morning low temperatures in the 50s and afternoon high temperatures ranging from the upper 70s on Saturday to lower 80s by Memorial Day Monday. Dry conditions look to continue through the weekend, yet there will be a chance for some isolated rain showers and thunderstorms by late in the day of Memorial Day Monday.
