Midnight Update:  We have had some patchy dense fog developing tonight, which will reduce visibilities for the early morning commute.  Overnight low temperatures will be around 64 degrees.  Tuesday will remain warm and muggy, with a high of 84 degrees.  There will be the chance for some late day rain showers and thunderstorms, yet most of the activity will be isolated.  Heavy rainfall and lightning will be the threats.  Tuesday night at 9:45pm is the official time of the August Full "Sturgeon" Moon.

We look to have a “normal” August week this week, with low temperatures in the mid 60s on average, and mid 80s for high temperatures. Along with the warm temperatures, we will also have muggy conditions and the chance for isolated rain showers and thunderstorms each afternoon and evening.

TONIGHT: After a few isolated rain showers early, we will have partly cloudy to mostly clear skies overnight. There will also be some patchy dense fog developing into early Tuesday as low temperatures fall to 64 degrees.

TUESDAY: We look to have partly sunny skies throughout the day, with the chance for isolated rain showers and thunderstorms, with heavy rainfall and lightning the biggest threats. Tuesday afternoon high temperatures will be around 84 degrees.

TUESDAY NIGHT: We look to have partly cloudy skies with an overnight low temperature of 66 degrees. Patchy dense fog will also be possible.

WEDNESDAY: A weather disturbance will move through the Ohio Valley on Wednesday providing us with the chance for scattered rain showers and thunderstorms, especially late in the day. Wednesday afternoon high temperatures will be around 85 degrees.

THURSDAY & FRIDAY: A cold front will approach the region Thursday and Friday, giving us another chance for scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. High temperatures will stay in the mid 80s.

WEEKEND: Right now the weekend is looking to be mainly dry, with mostly sunny to partly sunny skies, and highs in the mid to upper 80s.

NEXT WEEK: The dry pattern looks to continue into early next week, as high pressure becomes centered over the U.S. East Coast. Temperatures look to stay in the upper 80s early next week, with mostly sunny skies continuing.
