Early Weekend Update:  Expect rainy conditions for the start of our weekend, with a transition to some light snow Saturday night.  Saturday afternoon high temperatures will be around 41 degrees.  Colder air will move back in Saturday night into Sunday morning, with morning low temperatures around 26 degrees. Sunday will be cold and mostly cloudy, with a few flurries possible.  Sunday afternoon high temperatures will only reach 33 degrees.  Drier conditions return next week, with upper 30s to near 40 degrees Monday through Wednesday.  Milder temperatures return next Thursday and Friday, with highs back in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees.

We've had some snow mixed with rain tonight, yet we look to be mostly rain as we continue through the overnight hours and into Saturday.  A transition back to snow is possible Saturday night into Sunday morning.  Only a dusting for mainly grassy surfaces is expected.  Chilly temperatures continue into early next week, before milder temperatures return by late next week.

TONIGHT:  We will continue to have cloudy skies with a wintry mix of rain and snow possible.  Overnight low temperatures will be around 33 degrees.

SATURDAY:  We will have a cold rain through the day, with more of a drizzle developing by late Saturday.  Saturday high temperatures will reach 41 degrees.

SATURDAY NIGHT:  Rain is expected to transition back to snow Saturday night, yet at this point, there appears to be a lack of precipitation left, meaning that not much snow is expected.  However, overnight low temperatures will fall to 26 degrees by early Sunday morning, so anything that does fall could stick.  We expect only a dusting on mainly grassy surfaces at this time for areas along and north of I-64.

SUNDAY:  We may start off the day with a little lingering snow, yet that should diminish through the day, with only flurries leftover.  Temperatures will be cold for the end of the weekend, with a Sunday afternoon high of 33 degrees.

NEXT WEEK:  Temperatures will remain cold Monday through Wednesday, with upper 30s to lower 40s and partly sunny skies.  Moderating temperatures return for Thursday and Friday, with highs in the upper 40s to near 50 degrees.  Another round of rain is expected to return Friday night into the weekend.
