Early Saturday Update:  The latest weather models seem to keep the rain across southern and western parts of Kentucky, while areas along and north of I-64, and east of I-75, seem to stay just cloudy for Saturday morning.  Rain looks to become more widespread across Kentucky through the afternoon hours.  Rain will become heavier by the evening hours, with lingering rain into Sunday.  Have a great weekend!

We look to have a rainy and cool weekend, with milder temperatures returning next week.

Tonight: Scattered rain showers will develop this evening and overnight, mainly for locations south of I-64. Overnight low temperatures will be around 46 degrees.

Saturday: Rain showers will be possible throughout the day, with widespread rain likely, es...pecially through the afternoon and evening hours. With the clouds and rain, temperatures will top out around 61 degrees. We look to pick up between a quarter and three-quarters of an inch of rainfall on Saturday.

Saturday Night: Rain will continue Saturday evening through early Sunday, with heavier rain showers at times. Overnight low temperatures will be around 53 degrees.

Sunday: Lingering rain chances will continue for Sunday, especially for earlier in the day, with rain tapering off from west to east by Sunday afternoon and evening. Sunday afternoon high temperatures will be around 65 degrees.

Next Week: Temperatures return to the lower 70s for Monday, with the chance for a few rain showers. Tuesday looks drier and warmer, with partly sunny skies and a high of 76 degrees. Temperatures will be back to the upper 70s by Wednesday. The weather models do not have a good handle on late next week, yet we are looking at the chance for more rain and cooler temperatures for next Thursday and Friday.
