Cooler Temperatures For The Weekend

Early Weekend Update:  We will have mostly cloudy skies and cooler temperatures for our Saturday, with high temperatures around 55 degrees.  There will be a chance for a few rain showers, as a weak weather disturbance moves to the north of the region.  Temperatures are expected to be around 49 degrees at the start of the UK vs. Alabama State Homecoming Football game at Commonwealth Stadium.  Saturday night into Sunday morning will feature decreasing clouds, with Sunday morning low temperatures around 36 degrees.  Don't forget to set your clocks BACK one hour Saturday night before you go to bed.  Sunday will feature mostly sunny skies as high pressure builds into the region, with a high temperature of 53 degrees.  Temperatures will be back into the upper 50s to lower 60s for early next week, with mostly sunny skies continuing.  Another chance for a good soaking rain will return Wednesday night into Thursday.

We will have mostly cloudy skies tonight through the start of the weekend, with mostly sunny skies for the end of the weekend. Temperatures will be cooler this weekend, with low to mid 50s returning. Don’t forget to turn your clocks BACK one hour Saturday night, and replace the batteries in the smoke alarms and carbon monoxide monitors at your house.

TONIGHT: Clouds will increase tonight with a chilly overnight low temperature of 43 degrees by early Saturday morning.

SATURDAY: A weak weather disturbance will bring the chance for a few rain showers on Saturday, with mostly cloudy skies through the day. Saturday afternoon high temperatures will be around 55 degrees.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Don’t forget to turn your clocks BACK one hour Saturday night, as Daylight Saving Time comes to an end. Clouds will decrease overnight Saturday into Sunday morning, with low temperatures around 36 degrees.

SUNDAY: Mostly sunny skies return for Sunday as high pressure builds into the region. Sunday afternoon will be cool, with a high of 53 degrees.

NEXT WEEK: Temperatures will be seasonal early next week, with mostly sunny to partly sunny skies and highs in the upper 50s for Monday and lower 60s for Tuesday. Another round of rain showers will approach the region late Wednesday through early Thursday.
