Afternoon Update:

Temps this afternoon will be a good 10 degrees below normal.  Look for partly cloudy skies to dominate with a few showers possible in our southwestern counties.  Temps will again fall to near freezing overnight with a spike in the numbers by the end of our workweek and into this upcoming weekend.

Jackets, gloves, hats & scarfs is what you'll need this morning to stay warm outside. Look for temperatures in the 20s, 30s during the morning with mid 40s by noon.  Also, be on the look out for patchy fog and frost.  Partly cloudy skies should prevail during the day with highs only in the upper 40s and lower 50s.  In our extreme southwestern counties, we could see an isolated shower.  Into this evening, we're forecasting temperatures to tumble to the freezing mark...you'll need your heat this evening.

Your Election Day forecast looks good.  We're forecasting mostly cloudy skies with temps in the low 50s.  Though we'll hold on to a 10% chance for a shower, I think most of us should be staying dry.

We have a nice warm up in store by this upcoming weekend.  See your full forecast here!

Cold & Frosty start this morning! More at 5:00am sharp on ABC36's Good Morning Kentucky! http://t.co/XuFcgwXG
