Midnight Update:  We have temperatures in the upper 70s as of 11pm, with muggy conditions.  We will remain hot for Wednesday with temperatures back in the lower 90s, and a heat index around 100 degrees.  There will be the chance for some isolated thunderstorms each afternoon this week, yet rain chances increase for this weekend as a cold front moves through.  We'll get some relief from the heat this weekend through next week, with the approach of the cold front.

We will continue to have the high heat and humidity for the rest of the work week, with better chances for rain by the weekend. With the increased clouds and rain chances this weekend, temperatures will not be as hot. Also, a cold front will move through on Sunday, bringing temperatures back into the lower 80s by the start of next week.

Tonight: We will continue to have warm and muggy conditions overnight with mostly clear skies, and an overnight low of 72 degrees.

Wednesday: Once again temperatures will be back into the lower 90s through the afternoon, with the heat index ranging from 95 to 100 degrees across the region. Partly sunny skies will be around overall, with the chance for some isolated thunderstorms.

Thursday and Friday: Temperatures will remain in the lower 90s with partly sunny skies and the chance for isolated to widely scattered thunderstorms in the afternoon and evening.

Weekend: A cold front will approach and move through the region late Saturday into early Sunday, bringing our next best chance for rain. Temperatures will top out around 88 degrees on Saturday and around 84 degrees for Sunday. Rain looks to diminish throughout Sunday afternoon and evening, yet a lingering chance for rain will continue.

Next Week: Temperatures look to remain in the low to mid 80s for the start of next week, with partly sunny skies.
