Midnight Update: We have had clear skies early tonight, with more clouds building back in as we continue through your Friday morning hours. Rain showers will develop Friday morning and continue into the afternoon hours. Friday high temperatures will be around 77 degrees. Skies will begin to clear Friday evening, with cooler and drier air returning for the start of your weekend. Saturday morning will start off cool, with morning low temperatures in the lower 50s, and Saturday afternoon high temperatures around 80 degrees, with sunny skies. Sunday will be warmer, with highs around 86 degrees with mostly sunny skies.
Isolated rain showers will continue through this evening for mainly Eastern and South-Central Kentucky. Skies will begin to clear after sunset, which will allow for a decent viewing of tonight’s full moon. More numerous rain showers return for Friday, with sunny skies for the weekend. Friday will be a cool day, yet a warming trend begins Sunday and continues through next week.

FRIDAY: A cold front will move through the region on Friday, giving us the chance for scattered rain showers and thunderstorms. Skies will be mostly cloudy overall, with some clearing by late in the day. Friday afternoon high temperatures will be cooler, with a high of 77 degrees.
FRIDAY NIGHT: Mostly clear skies return for Friday night, with cooler temperatures returning as well. Overnight low temperatures will fall down into the lower 50s, with a low of 53 degrees.
SATURDAY: High pressure will build over the region for Saturday, giving us plenty of sunshine, with a high temperature of 80 degrees.
SUNDAY: Mostly sunny skies will continue for Father’s Day Sunday, with an afternoon high temperature of 86 degrees. There is a slight chance for an isolated rain shower or thunderstorm Sunday afternoon, yet most of us will stay dry.
NEXT WEEK: Temperatures continue on a warming trend through next week, with upper 80s to near 90 degrees, with the chance for late day, isolated thunderstorms.
