Midnight Update:  Rain showers have diminished, except for areas along the Kentucky and Tennessee state line.  As temperatures continue to drop and dew points remain high, expect patchy dense fog to develop through our morning hours of Tuesday.  Tuesday morning temperatures start off in the upper 60s to near 70 degrees, with Tuesday afternoon high temperatures around 86 degrees, with partly to mostly cloudy skies.  There will be a chance for a few isolated rain showers on Tuesday, yet a better chance for rain returns on Wednesday, with lingering rain chances this week.  High temperatures will generally be in the mid to upper 80s this week.

We will continue to have a tropical air mass over us this week, with unsettled weather leading to more rain chances.  Temperatures will be in the mid to upper 80s on average this week, yet the high dew points will make temperatures feel about five degrees warmer.

TONIGHT:  Skies will be mostly cloudy with a few spotty rain showers overnight.  Temperatures will remain warm, with an overnight low temperature of 69 degrees with muggy conditions.  Patchy dense fog will also be possible overnight.

TUESDAY:  A mixture of sun and clouds will be around for Tuesday, with partly to mostly cloudy skies and high temperatures around 86 degrees.  A few isolated rain showers and thunderstorms will be possible, with the best chance for rain staying to our west.

TUESDAY NIGHT:  Mostly cloudy skies will continue for Tuesday night, with a few rain showers and thunderstorms possible.  Overnight low temperatures will be around 70 degrees.

WEDNESDAY:  A slightly better chance for rain will return for Wednesday with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms.  Wednesday will feature mostly cloudy skies with a high of 85 degrees.

THURSDAY:  Temperatures will be on a warming trend this week, with highs in the upper 80s on Thursday, with a high of 87 degrees.  Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will stay in the forecast as well.

FRIDAY:  Mostly cloudy skies with a few scattered rain showers will be possible for Friday, with a high of 88 degrees.

WEEKEND:  High temperatures will be in the upper 80s to near 90 degrees, with a high of 89 degrees.  Widely scattered rain showers will be possible as well.
