Rain & Thunderstorms Expected For Monday

Midnight Update:  More scattered rain showers and thunderstorms are moving into the Bluegrass Region tonight, with rain and thunderstorms possible overnight and throughout Monday.  A cold front will cross the region on Monday, with rain possible all day.  Rain will diminish Monday night, with more sunshine and warmer temperatures returning for Tuesday.

We will have another round of rain and thunderstorms possible for the start of the work week, with warmer temperatures expected by midweek:

Tonight: A cold front will approach the area over...night, and move through on Monday, which will give us the chance for lingering rain showers and thunderstorms overnight. Overnight low temperatures will be around 65 degrees.

Monday: Grab your umbrella or rain jacket, because the chance for rain showers and thunderstorms will continue throughout your Monday, as a cold front moves through the area. Some storms may become strong to severe with gusty winds, large hail, heavy rainfall, and frequent lightning possible. Monday afternoon high temperatures will be around 77 degrees.

Monday Night: Rain showers will diminish Monday night into Tuesday morning, with overnight low temperatures around 61 degrees.

Tuesday: Warmer temperatures and drier conditions return for Tuesday and Wednesday, with partly sunny skies. Tuesday afternoon high temperatures will be around 84 degrees.

Wednesday: Our warmest day of the week looks to be on Wednesday, with high temperatures around 88 degrees. A few locations may even reach 90 degrees.

Thursday: We will have another round of rain showers and thunderstorms on Thursday as another weather disturbance moves through the region. Thursday afternoon high temperatures will remain warm, with a high of 85 degrees.

Friday-Weekend: We will have warm temperatures with partly sunny skies for Friday into your weekend. Friday and Saturday high temperatures will be in the low to mid 80s. There will be a slight chance for a few rain showers and thunderstorms for Sunday, with a high of 86 degrees.
