Early Weekend Update:  We are looking at a fantastic weekend to be outdoors.  Saturday will be mostly sunny and warm for the UK versus Miami (Ohio) football game.  Temperatures will be around 74 degrees for tailgating, 78 degrees for the 12pm kickoff, and warm to 84 degrees by the end of the game.  There will be a chance for an isolated thunderstorm for Sunday afternoon, yet most of us will stay dry with a high of 86 degrees.  Temperatures will be back to the upper 80s to near 90 degrees next week, with the humidity increasing as well.  The heat index will make it feel like summertime next week, with heat indices in the low to mid 90s by early to midweek.  Late day pop-up thunderstorms will also be possible through next week as well.  A cold front will move through next Thursday, bringing in some pleasant air for next Friday and Saturday.

The weather is looking fantastic for our weekend, with a warming trend as we go into next week.

TONIGHT: We will have clear skies and cool conditions overnight, with low temperatures around 58 degrees. There will be another chance for some patchy fog, especially for the valleys for early Saturday.

SATURDAY: We will have mostly sunny skies throughout the day, with more clouds increasing by late in the day. Saturday afternoon high temperatures will be around 84 degrees.

SATURDAY NIGHT: Partly cloudy skies will be around for Saturday night into Sunday morning with overnight low temperatures around 64 degrees.

SUNDAY: Our warming trend will continue into Sunday with partly sunny skies and a high of 86 degrees. The humidity will be gradually increasing as well, and with extra moisture around, we may have a few isolated thunderstorms for Sunday afternoon. Otherwise, most of us will stay dry through the weekend.

NEXT WEEK: Temperatures will stay warm for next week, with highs in the upper 80s. With the increasing humidity next week, the heat index will be closer to the lower 90s around midweek next week. The chance for isolated thunderstorms will continue just about each afternoon, with the best chance for rain late Wednesday into Thursday as a cold front moves through the region.
