Afternoon Update:
Wall-to-wall sunshine has been beaming down on central Kentucky all morning. As we were forecasting, temperatures have rocketed into the mid and upper 70s. It is going to look good and feel good through the afternoon with temps still expected to peak in the low 80s. More heat and humidity are back in the picture by tomorrow!

Good Monday morning!
We're waking up and starting our day with sunshine and cool temps. Mostly sunny skies will dominate your Monday in the Blue Grass; however, the further east you are, towards the mountains, you'll notice more clouds and perhaps and isolated shower. Daytime highs should spike in the low 80s. Tonight, we'll call for mostly clear skies with overnight lows falling into the mid 50s.
We could see a few more raindrops Tuesday; however, drier air will park itself in our backyards through the middle of this week before temperature flirt with near 90 degrees by this upcoming weekend!
